Our Camp offers our 2 exciting camping programs:

Adventure Camp - for girls and boys 8 to 12 years of age, is a 6 day / 5 night fun filled adventure camping experience.

Camp Challenge - for teens 13-17, is a 12 day /10 night amazing Leadership & Team Skills Building camp.

Both Camp Challenge and Adventure Camp take place at the same time at our Campground.

The Camping Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (CANSPEI) has audited and accredited Adventure Camp Challenge as a summer residential camp that meets all the residential camping industry best practice standards for camper and staff safety, health & welfare, safe and sound camp facilities, equipment and food service practices, being socially inclusive and for providing campers an exciting, involving and safe activity programming.

We will due our utmost to ensure that your child or teen has a safe and fun time at our Camp.

We will:

  • Ensure all of our Camp Counsellors have a Criminal Records Check, which are required for all persons 18 years and over who work with children and youth.

  • Ensure that the majority of our Camp Counsellors at least have a recognized Emergency First Aid+CPR A certification. Senior and program staff have a Standard First Aid+CPR C certification.

  • Follow the Camping Association of Nova Scotia safety practices in their Accreditation Standards Guideline.

  • Ensure that swimming will be under the direction of a certified Life Guard; that canoeing or kayaking will be under the direction of a certified Canoe/Kayak Instructor and that all low ropes challenge course participation will be under the direction of a certified Low Ropes Challenge Course Instructor.

  • Follow the Nova Scotia and PEI Department of Community Services and Child Protection Branch directions and instructions at all times

Our staff will use the personal information that you provide in the Registration Form only for the purposes for which it was collected and we will not disclose the information for other purposes, except as required by Canadian or Nova Scotia law and except to the Camping Associaton of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (CANSPEI) for the purpose of operating our as an Accredited Camp. All the personal information provided in the Registration Form will be maintained in a secure manner to ensure that its use is limited to the purposes for which it was collected.
