Heather Hannon is a native of Halifax , Nova Scotia and has painted for over 30 years, first as a hobby, and for the last ten years professionally. 

Heather’s work covers a broad range, including seacapes, landscapes, still life, floral arrangements and animals.  In particular Heather enoys capturing the Maritime environment in which she lives. She draws her inspiration from the natural beauty around her and works to translate her love of colour and detail into the finished painting.
